We have a responsibility to develop every PAUSD student’s full potential, both academically and socially. Our students deserve the best educational opportunities possible, which includes developing innovative thinking and leadership skills while being challenged and supported. I will insist on regular data-driven measurements of student success, embrace what's working and encourage innovation where improvement is needed.

All students and staff deserve to feel safe, supported, and valued in our district. I will advocate for a culture of connectedness and care for both students and staff which includes physical and emotional safety on campus, zero tolerance for bullying, and strengthening mental health resources for students and staff through partnerships with community organizations. I’ll ensure students are included as advisors and stakeholders in these efforts.

Palo Alto students, parents, and community members expect leadership that reflects our community’s traditions of collaboration, innovation, and academic excellence. I will work to deliver informed, effective, and student-centered district governance. As a Board Trustee, I’ll insist on responsible oversight of our district’s $360 million operating budget. I will advocate to raise revenue and trim expenses, while working to retain our outstanding teachers and staff and prioritizing excellent student outcomes.
